Job summary

American Crane & Equipment Corporation is seeking a dedicated Overhead Crane & Hoist Service Technician. This field-based position involves traveling to customer sites for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electric overhead cranes and hoists across Pennsylvania and the continental U.S.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, with technical certifications preferred, and have 3-5+ years of relevant experience. A strong focus on safety and effective communication is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience servicing electric overhead cranes and hoists strongly preferred.
• Solid mechanical troubleshooting and repair capability.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites.
• Document and report service activities and findings.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel as necessary.
