Egis in Sacramento is seeking an Overhead Contact Systems Lead to join our integrated project team. You will provide technical expertise for system performance specification, costing, compliance, construction, acceptance, maintenance and operation of Overhead Contact Systems and equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of Overhead Line Equipment, high-speed rail interfaces, and excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in Overhead Contact System, high-speed operation.
• Railway system knowledge and interfaces understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Plan and deliver systems to meet future demand and emerging technologies.
• Manage third parties to meet service levels.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, industry and company standards.
• Incorporated Engineer progressing to Chartered status.
• Engineering management experience involving risk assessment.
• Relevant professional qualifications.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-speed rail system meeting client requirements.
• Interpret requirements and develop performance specs per standards.
• Advise on development to keep systems safe and performant.
• Provide guidance on interfaces between rail systems and other works.
• Support project team with specialist advice.
• Establish technical content for Overhead Contact System requirements.
• Update design criteria for future contracts.
• Review safety, performance, and compatibility of designs and provide feedback.
• Participate in or lead audits as required.
• Contribute to RFP development and evaluation of proposals.
• Monitor contractual commitments against specs.
