Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Overflow Unit. This 12-hour day shift role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The unit handles diverse med/surg/telemetry populations with emphasis on safe, holistic patient care.

Responsibilities include performance of health assessments, care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Requires BSN, 1 year RN experience, and AHA BLS certification; VA licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data to inform care plans.
• Formulates individualized care plans based on assessments and trends.
• Delivers patient- and family-centered care and coordinates with the healthcare team.
