Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor/trailer across diverse routes, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate records while adhering to FMCSA rules and local laws.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements, be 21+, pass medical and road tests, and reside within 75 miles of a service center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 21 years or older; 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Registered with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements.
• Able to drive tractor-trailer per FMCSA rules.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Able to operate forklift (7,500 lb).
• Able to lift ~70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight per FMCSA rules.
• Maintain records in compliance with regs.
• Comply with hazardous materials transport requirements.
• Secure equipment and cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report maintenance to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs as required.
• May drive different schedules and dock work per business needs.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
