Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines, a leading LTL freight carrier, seeks Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. Earn competitive pay and benefits, including uniforms, lodging, cell phone reimbursements, and bonus eligibility.

This role requires operating all equipment safely, FMCSA compliance, and the ability to work 5-day trips away from home. The position emphasizes safety, punctuality, and customer service within a supportive Estes network.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random tests.
• Must comply with FMCSA rules, safety policies and ELD requirements.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and operate all safety functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA laws.
• Adhere to safety procedures, logs, and local/state/federal regulations.
• Maintain required records and ensure trailer and equipment security.
• Inspect vehicle pre-trip and post-trip and report maintenance needs.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public.
• Possess flexibility to work various schedules and docks as needed.
• Provide safe and efficient service across Estes network.
