Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. The role emphasizes driver comfort with in-cab technology, adherence to FMCSA regulations, and a strong safety record.

Training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive team. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ with 1 year driving experience, and the ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and long-haul drives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations with 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and procedures; ensure cargo security.
• Maintain records as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
• May use in-cab technology including electronic logs and scheduling systems.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and the public.
