Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to haul freight between Estes Service Centers. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to FMCSA regulations, and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and be able to pass FMCSA medical exam.
• Must reside within commuting distance to Service Center.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registered.
• Able to read and speak English well enough to comprehend regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely to transport freight per FMCSA and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete required logs and records accurately; adhere to run times.
• Follow safety rules for hazardous materials handling when assigned.
• Provide professional service to customers and maintain security of cargo.
• Attend regular duties and respond to scheduling needs as required.
