Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to operate tractor-trailers across service centers, upholding FMCSA rules and safety standards. The role requires passing medical and road tests, and maintaining compliance with hazardous materials guidelines.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, manage logs, and ensure secure cargo handling while representing Estes with professionalism on every mile.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and at least 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs. and drive diverse terrains.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely to perform required functions.
• Drive tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA regulations and laws.
• Maintain records and logs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe vehicle operation.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to supervision.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
