Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in the United States seeks Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers, typically about 5 days away from home. The role emphasizes safety, FMCSA compliance, and the use of in-cab technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL; FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
• Must reside within 75 miles of a Service Center.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• English speaking/reading ability required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in accordance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after trips.
• Maintain required records and comply with local, state and federal laws.
• Transport hazardous materials safely and securely.
• Use in-cab technology and route/dock assignments as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
