Job summary

QualiTech in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Oven Operator to form, bake, and cool dough to deliver safe, spec-compliant products. The role requires attending pre-shift meetings, following GMPs and safety policies, and completing annual Alchemy courses.

You will execute the daily production schedule, monitor automation, maintain clean work areas, document batch data, and communicate with shifts. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers with decimals.
• Ability to read computer screens and enter data.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Work independently with self-management.

Responsibilities

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings.
• Adhere to all food safety and safety programs.
• Complete required Alchemy courses throughout the year.
• Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in sequence.
• Ensure product is baked using proper recipes and settings.
• Perform HACCP monitoring checks to verify CCPs are working.
• Maintain utensils, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Accurately maintain batch records, equipment used, deviations, and parameters.
• Monitor automated equipment to verify proper functioning.
• Communicate relevant information to other production shifts.
• Report any food safety and quality problems to management.
