JobSummary — The Opportunity

Some customer equipment needs calibration or repair from theoriginal manufacturer or a specialized vendor, and customers still count on usto get it done right and on time. As our To-Factory Specialist, you'll own thatprocess from start to finish.

In this role, you will manage outsourced calibration andrepair services, from getting customer approval and vendor quotes to creatingpurchase orders, tracking shipments, and verifying equipment and paperwork whenit comes back. You'll be the central point of coordination between customers,vendors, and our internal teams, keeping everyone informed and every jobmoving.

You'll thrive here if you're highly organized, followthrough on every detail, and can juggle multiple priorities with urgency andaccuracy.

KeyResponsibilities & Outcomes

• Coordinateoutsourced service. Review work orders to determine outsourcing needs,request quotes, pricing, and RMAs from vendors, provide estimates to customers,and secure approvals.
• Managepurchasing and shipping. Create and manage purchase orders in Sage,coordinate shipments to vendors, and follow up on expected return dates.
• Verifyquality on return. Check incoming equipment and documentation for accuracy,confirm calibration certificates meet quality standards, process receipts, androute equipment back to the lab.
• Keepeveryone informed. Serve as the key liaison between customers, vendors, andinternal teams, providing timely updates on status, delays, and approvals.
• Maintainaccurate records. Track all updates in CalMapp and keep clear, organizedrecords of outsourced work and communications.
• Managevendors and measure results. Track vendor performance and turnaround-timeKPIs, research new vendors when needed, and help improve processes andworkflows.

• Required:High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required:Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Required:Strong written and verbal communication and a customer service mindset witha sense of urgency.
• Required:Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Required:Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Required:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally travel to other locationsfor training or support.
• Preferred:Experience with Sage or another ERP system.
