Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an experienced outsourced Chief Financial Officer to join our Outsourced Services practice, focusing on real estate private equity funds. The role combines strategic financial leadership with fund accounting, reporting, governance, and compliance.

The Outsourced CFO advises fund sponsors and general partners on capital strategy, structuring, and major financial decisions, while overseeing the financial infrastructure to operate funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; related field
• 15+ years of accounting/finance experience with real estate private equity fund structures
• Experience with fund accounting, capital accounts, waterfall or promote calculations and US GAAP reporting
• Experience with real estate debt structures, loan covenants, and financing processes

Responsibilities

• Serve as CFO advisor to real estate fund sponsors and general partners on capital strategy and major investment decisions
• Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, and performance insights for portfolio strategy and fund decisions
• Represent clients in discussions with investors, lenders, and stakeholders on financing and fund performance
• Lead financial oversight across real estate funds including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and liquidity planning
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, preferred returns, and waterfall calculations
