Qualifications

• High school diploma; AA preferred.
• Prior sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to sit throughout day while driving to and from various customer locations; long days.
• Computer, mathematical and customer service skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. regularly.
• Dealership environment exposure; 8–12 hour days; weather elements.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Sells heavy duty and/or light duty truck parts.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction among all assigned accounts.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services sold by Sahling Kenworth.
• Cultivate assigned customer territories and accounts.
• Solicit and grow new accounts.
• Maintains relationships with all customers.
• Promotes the sales of parts and accessories and advises wholesale/retail customers.
• Spends time in solicitation of new business.
• Complete product and sales training courses as assigned.
• Develop and maintain full working knowledge of company systems, procedures and policies.
• Maintains parts-related correspondence.
• Keeps up to date on new products.
