KEYENCE is hiring a Technical Sales Representative in Chicago, IL to join our dynamic sales team. You will meet customers on-site, understand their needs, and deliver cutting-edge automation solutions that drive real business results.

This outside sales role requires travel (60%+), strong communication, and the ability to demonstrate our industry-leading products. Training is world-class and career growth is emphasized within a supportive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s and 4+ years military experience)
• Strong work ethic and a passion for learning
• Flexibility and critical thinking skills to adapt to customer challenges
• Willingness to travel (60%+), including overnight
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Ability to lift and transport demo equipment (35–85 lbs.) into customer sites

Responsibilities

• Meet customers on-site and assess their needs to deliver tailored solutions
• Conduct on-site consultations and product demonstrations to expand business
• Prospect new opportunities via cold calls, leads, and collaboration with the sales team
• Collaborate with the local sales office to develop accounts and exceed sales goals
