Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Mon-Fri) at our facility.

Starting wage is $22.68/hr plus shift differential, with responsibilities including receiving, issuing, handling material, and maintaining documentation to ensure accurate inventory flow. The role requires one year of forklift or heavy equipment experience, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, strong safety focus, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift/heavy equipment experience or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Maintain documentation for material movement and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loads for shipping and unload materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of material received and shipped.
• Inspect each load for safety and quality.
• Operate lift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure yard organization and cleanliness.
• Follow production plans and shipping orders.
