Job summary

Pine Forest Country Club seeks an Outside Services Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Outside Services team, ensuring a welcoming, professional member and guest experience from arrival to departure.

This role oversees bag drop, cart staging, bag storage, practice facilities, and coordination with the Golf Professional Staff; promotes teamwork, accountability, and high service standards. Candidates with PGA Member/Associate status or pursuing the PGA pathway are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service-focused team.
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Interest in PGA pathway or PGA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Outside Services team, including bag drop, cart staging, bag room operations, practice facilities, and member transportation.
• Review tee sheets, event schedules, and member requests before each shift to ensure readiness.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign staff duties; adjust coverage as needed.
• Ensure members and guests are greeted warmly and assisted promptly at all times.
• Keep golf carts clean, charged, and stocked with essentials.
• Oversee bag storage, golf bags, push carts, and personal belongings handling.
• Maintain the driving range, practice areas, and related service areas for readiness.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Outside Services staff to Pine Forest standards.
• Provide regular feedback and address policy violations; assist with disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Prepare staff schedules based on activity, tournaments, and weather.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and uniform standards.
• Coordinate with Golf Professional Staff on tee-time changes and member needs.
• Assist with tournaments, outings, and special club golf events.
• Respond promptly to member concerns and communicate follow-up to Golf Professional Staff.
• Enforce cart safety procedures and proper operation of carts and equipment.
• Inspect carts and facilities and report issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory of towels, tees, supplies, and maintenance items.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures are completed and areas are organized.
• Promote teamwork, urgency, accountability, and a positive attitude.
