Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, by name when possible.
• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and storage of golf bags.
• Prepare and stage golf carts per tee sheet and procedures.
• Maintain cart rotation and ensure carts are available.
• Inspect, stock, charge, and store golf carts.
• Set up and maintain driving range and practice facilities.
• Keep cart barn and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Anticipate member needs and respond promptly.
• Communicate cart availability and needs to supervisors.
• Follow opening, closing, safety, weather and emergency procedures.
• Assist with tournaments and events.
• Treat guests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Overview

Pine Forest Country Club is seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Outside Services team. This position serves as one of the first and last points of contact for our members and guests and plays an essential role in creating an organized, welcoming, and first-class golf experience.

Experience Required

• Prior golf, hospitality, customer-service, or country-club experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of golf and golf-course etiquette is helpful.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must possess strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Must be available to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Must meet all club requirements for operating golf carts and utility vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities

Greet members and guests promptly, professionally, and whenever possible by name.

• Assist with the loading, unloading, staging, and storage of golf bags.
• Prepare and stage golf carts according to the daily tee sheet and established staging procedures.
• Maintain an organized cart rotation and ensure carts are available when needed.
• Clean, inspect, stock, charge, and properly store golf carts.
• Set up, maintain, and close the driving range, short-game area, and practice facilities.
• Keep the cart barn, bag room, staging areas, podium, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
• Retrieve carts from the golf course and parking areas safely and efficiently.
• Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Communicate cart availability, member needs, and operational concerns to supervisors and the golf professional staff.
• Follow all opening, closing, safety, weather, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with tournaments, member events, and other golf operations as assigned.
• Treat members' guests with the same attention and courtesy provided to members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Outside Services Supervisor or golf professional staff.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, and humid conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move golf bags and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and safely operate golf carts and utility vehicles.
