Job Title: Outside Service Technician

Ashley Furniture, a leader in home furnishings for over 75 years, is seeking an Outside Service Technician to join our team. We are dedicated to quality, style, and affordability, serving a growing customer base worldwide.

Purpose: The technician will primarily repair case goods, leather, and upholstery furniture, including minor repairs on product damage in customers' homes. A customer-centric mindset is essential to deliver a world-class experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on all product types with minimal guidance.
• Handle minor repairs on case pieces, tables, and surface refinishing.
• Rebuild small corner damages and perform advanced replacement repairs.
• Maintain tools, parts, and a clean work area.
• Inspect damaged products and assess repairability.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel for product touch-ups.
• Document recurring damages and assist other technicians.
• Accurately report repair issues and assess damages efficiently.
• Identify damages, losses, or surplus goods in the warehouse.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Compensation: Hourly rate of $20.00 - $24.00. Profit sharing is available based on company profitability.
