Balduzzi's Lumber in Ettrick, WI is seeking an outside salesperson to grow our contractor and retail customer base. You will read blueprints, perform take-offs, and translate plans into accurate material estimates for houses, decks, garages, doors, and windows.

This base pay + commission role rewards initiative, customer service excellence, and teamwork with the sales and yard staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Formación

• Experience in building materials sales is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with window and door product lines is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, perform take-offs, and generate accurate material estimates.
• Outstanding communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Ambitious self-starter who can make sound decisions with minimal oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with contractors and homeowners to take sales orders, answer project questions, and grow the contractor customer base.
• Review drawings, perform take-offs, and calculate accurate estimates for full house packages, decks, garages, windows, and doors.
• Generate precise quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders using the POS system.
• Stay up to date on our full range of building materials—especially window and door products—to identify the best solutions for our customers.
• Collaborate with the sales and yard team to ensure orders are accurate and customer service issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities
As a core member of our sales team, you will act as a trusted advisor to contractors and retail customers.
• Partner with Pros: Meet with contractors and homeowners to take sales orders, answer project questions, and proactively grow our contractor customer base.
• Bring Plans to Life: Review drawings, perform take-offs, and calculate accurate estimates for full house packages, decks, garages, windows, and doors.
• Manage the Process: Generate precise quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders seamlessly using our POS system.
• Be the Expert: Stay up to date on our full range of building materials—especially window and door products—to identify the best solutions for our customers.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the rest of the sales and yard team to ensure orders are accurate and customer service issues are resolved promptly.

What We’re Looking For

This is a base pay + commission position.
