Job summary

M & M Sales & Equipment is seeking an Outside Sales Rep for the West Odessa, TX territory. This is field-based work where you’ll build relationships with manufacturers and shops, assess needs, and present tooling and abrasives solutions.

You’ll start from our Odessa branch, review orders, gather materials, and head into your territory to service customers in person, aiming to minimize downtime and optimize processes.

We're a family-owned industrial distributor supplying abrasives, cutting tools, safety supplies and accessories to manufacturers, machine shops, and some of the largest oil companies in the country.

But handing someone a product from a catalog isn't what makes us different.

Our customers come to us when they're making a new part, trying to improve an old machining process, burning through tooling too quickly or losing production time they can't afford to lose.

We go see what's happening. Then our team helps build a better solution.

That can mean selecting the tooling, testing it, programming the machine, optimizing the process, setting up the machine and dialing in the first part until the customer is ready to run.

Because our purpose is bigger than selling tooling.

We want to keep manufacturing local.

And we do that by helping our customers get more parts out the door.

We're looking for an Outside Salesperson to take ownership of our West Odessa territory so we can do more of it.

This is where you come in.

WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL LOOK LIKE

This is field sales. Not work-from-home sales. Not account management disguised as sales. And definitely not waiting around for marketing to fill your calendar.

Ideally, you'll start most mornings at our Odessa branch.

You'll check customer orders, grab materials or products you need for the day, make sure you know where you're going and why- and then get into your territory.
