Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for all aspects of dry ice sales, including distribution and application equipment. The role also involves customer service, maintaining current customers, and developing new ones. Reports to the Region Sales Manager.

Position Accountabilities
  1. Maintain high levels of personal safety performance and regulatory compliance.
  2. Drive profitable growth of the territory business.
  3. Prospect for new business opportunities.
  4. Negotiate new account and existing account contract renewals.
  5. Manage existing business portfolio to maximize gross profit.
  6. Provide first-line product and application support to customers and prospects.
  7. Coordinate and manage communication between the customer and CCPI.
  8. Report sales activity timely to sales management.
  9. Identify cross-selling opportunities and coordinate with team members.
  10. Support collections, customer issues, and asset management as required.
  11. Perform equipment demonstrations as needed.
  12. Utilize value-based selling skills.
  13. Achieve price attainment initiatives.
  14. Travel up to 80% for work-related activities.
Required Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective speaking skills for presentations to groups of customers, clients, vendors, and colleagues.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Reasoning Ability
  • Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
  • Interpret instructions furnished in various formats.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • At least 3 years of related experience and/or training.
  • College diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
