Job description

We are seeking a full-time Sales Account Executive in Wichita, KS. The salary for this position is $68-$95K per year.

Sales Account Executive Job Responsibilities :

• As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing the needs of clients
• You will build and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure the timely and reliable delivery of goods
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and trucking companies
• Source and qualify new carriers to expand the network
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while ensuring profitability
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to performance and customer satisfaction
• 5 day work day, 7 : 30am-6pm, mostly out in the field, no office

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience in transportation, carrier sales, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
• Sales experience in the trucking industry
