JOB SUMMARY: Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of the organization's products and/or services. Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts. Assess potential application of company products or services and offer solutions that meet customer needs.

KEY RESULTS AREAS ("KRA"):

  1. KRA #1 - Exceeding Sales Targets (50%)
    Surpass Orders/Bookings Targets
    Surpass Gross-Margin Targets
    Surpass Principal Targets
    Increase the number of ECI Manufacturers & Product Groups Sold to Existing ECI Customers
  2. KRA #2 - Technical Proficiency (15%)
    Successfully demonstrate and deliver value proposition for key products
    Know the Line Card
    Understand the inter-relation of principals
    Keen understanding of new products released by manufacturer
    Extend scope of the sales
    Customers view you as a Trusted Adviser
  3. KRA #3 - Professional Salesmanship (15%)
    Tireless work ethic
    Effective utilization of key ECI and principal resources
    Ownership of CRM
    Establish a partnership with Inside Sales
    Militant approach to strategic discounting
    Balance between hunter and farmer
    Utilization of Sales Tools

  4. KRA #4 - Manage the Funnel (15%)
    CRM and Forecasting Accuracy of Opportunities

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.)

EDUCATION/REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience preferred.

CREDENTIALS: N/A

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years’ experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM platform.

  • May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Climbing on ladders, scaffolding, tanks, etc. to access the equipment.
  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required in order to complete the required work. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection, hard hats, etc. are required.
