Job summary

Vander Haag’s Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Indianapolis, IN to build relationships with repair shops and fleets, grow the territory, and keep trucks on the road.

You’ll manage an established customer base while developing new business opportunities across the Indianapolis market. This full-time role offers a base salary plus commission, company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in trucking or heavy equipment construction preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment MVR check required.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and generate new business within the territory.
• Conduct regular in-person customer visits and follow-ups.
• Promote Vander Haag’s full product offering (new, used, rebuilt parts).
• Identify customer needs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes to close sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with inside sales and parts teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
• Stay informed on product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends.

Outside Sales Representative (Indianapolis, IN)

In this role, you'll manage an established customer base while developing new business opportunities throughout the Indianapolis market. What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in the trucking or heavy equipment construction industry is preferred, but not required.
• Current, valid driver’s license (required).
• Successfully passing a pre-employment MVR records check for insurance purposes.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, day shift position: Monday through Friday
• Expected first-year earnings of $70,000-$90,000, with higher earning potential for top performers as they grow their territory.
