Job summary

Vander Haag's Inc. is hiring for a full-time sales role at our London, OH location. You will sell used trucks and new & used trailers, engaging via direct contacts, calls, and online inquiries to drive revenue.

You will gather unit information and photos for appraisals and determine market values, while promoting Vander Haag's programs. Expect base salary plus uncapped commission with earning potential $100K+ and typical compensation $80K-$90K including commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling trucks or trailers, preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to obtain unit information and photos for appraisals.

Job description

We have a full time opportunity to join our growing sales team at our store location in London, OH! We are currently searching for a motivated individual to sell used trucks and new & used trailers.

This position will be responsible for the sale of trucks and trailers by direct contact, incoming calls, prospecting, and internet requests. This individual will also need to have the ability to obtain information and pictures on units to be used for appraisals, reconditioning costs, and determining retail market values. This position will also promote Vander Haag's programs and services that will be available alongside their purchase. This position is compensated through a base salary + commission structure. Our commission is uncapped, so the more you sell... the more you earn! There is earning potential of $100K+ in this role. Some prior sales experience in the trucking or construction equipment industry is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual for this opportunity.

Hours

Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. Office hours are generally 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, but may vary slightly based on business necessity.

Compensation

This position pays a base salary + an uncapped commission that is paid each pay period. Typical annual compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000/year (including commission).

Travel

This position will occasionally include business related travel (less than 10%). Travel will typically be to trade shows or industry-related events. Travel may also include visits to customer sites to build customer relationships and/or provide bids for purchasing used trucks or trailers.
