Job summary

Marsh & Moore, Inc. seeks a motivated, well-organized external sales professional to drive sales in the SW Florida plumbing market. You will manage multiple lines, perform on-site product demonstrations, and report customer needs and market trends.

The role requires strong communication skills, CRM proficiency, and daily travel within the territory. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of sales experience, plumbing knowledge, and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must live or relocate to SW Florida (Naples, Sarasota, Ft. Myers area).
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Plumbing industry knowledge preferred.
• Reliable vehicle for daily territory travel (truck/SUV preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must lift and transport heavy equipment (40 lbs).
• Overnight travel required for factory training/tours.
• Clean background check and MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Manage representation and drive sales with multiple lines.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow business in existing markets.
• Conduct product demonstrations to customers on jobsites, tradeshows, and in offices.
• Provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
• Expedite resolution of customer problems to maximize satisfaction.
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
• Familiarity with CRM databases and enter sales data for reporting to manufacturers.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven sales track record.
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills are a must.
• Train and shadow with current outside sales representative for the territory until March 2027.

Marsh & Moore, Inc. a 54-year-old manufacturer's representative agency located in St. Augustine, Florida and is currently seeking a candidate that is motivated, well organized and who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with our customer base in the plumbing industry to drive sales in the SW Florida market.

Responsibilities

• Manage representation and drive sales with multiple lines represented.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive business with our lines represented in existing markets.
• Must have strong public speaking skills and be able to conduct product demonstrations to our customer base on jobsites, tradeshows, and office settings.
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
• Familiarity with CRM databases along with ability to enter sales data to report back to our manufacturer’s represented.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills a must.
