Vert Environmental is hiring experienced Outside Sales Representatives across Southern California to grow new business in assigned territories. This is a true hunter role.

You'll spend roughly 90% of your time in the field meeting prospects, building relationships, generating new business, and developing your territory. You'll sell environmental testing services to property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, real estate professionals, insurance contacts, and other

Qualifications

• Must have a track record of generating new business and hitting sales targets.
• Able to build a territory from the ground up and prospect in the field.
• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory from prospecting through close.
• Build and manage your pipeline with outbound prospecting.
• Conduct meetings and introductions with prospects in the field and on-site.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, contractors, real estate professionals, and other decision-makers.
• Manage full sales cycle from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Act as a trusted resource for environmental testing services (asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria).
• Grow existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline and CRM activity.

You'll sell environmental testing services to property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, real estate professionals, insurance contacts, and other commercial clients.

What You'll Do

You'll own your territory from prospecting through close.

• Build and manage your own pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting
• Spend approximately 90% of your time in the field meeting prospects and developing relationships
• Make office visits, job-site visits, cold calls, and in-person introductions
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, restoration companies, real estate professionals, insurance contacts, and other key decision-makers
• Identify new opportunities and turn prospects into long-term clients
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Become a trusted resource for environmental testing services including asbestos, mold, lead, bacteria, and more
• Grow existing accounts and identify repeat and upsell opportunities
• Maintain an organized pipeline and activity in the CRM

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a proven outside sales hunter, not someone who depends on inbound leads.

You'll be a strong fit if you:

• Have a track record of generating new business and consistently hitting sales targets
• Are comfortable building a territory from the ground up
• Enjoy cold prospecting, face-to-face selling, and opening new accounts
• Are persistent and comfortable hearing "no"
• Can manage your own schedule, territory, and pipeline without constant supervision
• Are comfortable spending most of your day in the field
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is a plus.
