Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to serve Grand County and surrounding mountain communities. You will be the face of REIC Rentals, developing trusted relationships with contractors, municipalities, utility companies, and commercial customers.

Drive new business while maintaining existing relationships, visiting jobsites daily to assess needs and propose equipment solutions, and collaborating with inside sales and operations to ensure top-notch service and equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in construction, rental, or related industries.
• Existing relationships with contractors, municipalities, or builders in Winter Park/Grand County preferred.
• Ability to call on jobsites, identify customer needs, and propose equipment solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with contractors, municipalities, utility companies, and commercial customers in Grand County.
• Visit jobsites daily to understand needs and quote equipment.
• Prepare quotes, rental agreements, and pricing proposals.

What You'll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll be the face of REIC Rentals in the local market, developing trusted relationships with contractors, builders, municipalities, utility companies, and commercial customers.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Build and grow relationships with general contractors, excavation companies, municipalities, utility contractors, landscapers, and commercial construction companies throughout Grand County and surrounding areas.
• Develop new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Visit jobsites daily to understand customer needs and recommend equipment solutions.
• Partner with customers to help them complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Identify upcoming construction and infrastructure projects and position REIC Rentals as the preferred equipment partner.
• Collaborate with branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service and equipment availability.
• Prepare equipment quotes, rental agreements, and pricing proposals.
• Work closely with inside sales and operations teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Represent REIC Rentals at contractor association meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, community events, and local trade shows.
• Stay informed on local construction activity, market trends, and competitive opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already understands the local market and enjoys developing genuine, long-term relationships.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of outside sales experience in one or more of the following:
• Equipment rental
• Construction
• Heavy equipment
• Building materials
• Industrial sales
• General contracting
• Municipal sales
• Existing relationships with contractors, builders, municipalities, or construction professionals in the Winter Park or Grand County area are highly desirable.
• Experience calling on construction jobsites and commercial customers.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend practical equipment solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with branch operations.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
