We’re looking for a driven and adaptable Outside Sales Representative who thrives on fostering client relationships—both by acquiring new accounts and by building and managing lasting partnerships.

Role Overview

As a Outside Sales Representative at Brite Nites, your main focus will be to foster client relationships through a balance of strategic outreach to new leads and high-touch service for existing accounts. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting leads, and nurturing clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

This is a key role for someone who is both a proactive hunter and a thoughtful farmer—someone who can drive revenue while delivering a standout customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new residential and commercial clients through outbound calls, emails, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with both new and existing clients to maximize lifetime value.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand client needs and propose customized lighting solutions.
  • Present Brite Nites’ services with clarity, enthusiasm, and confidence to drive new business and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your accounts—managing expectations, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Keep accurate records of all interactions, proposals, and pipeline activity in our CRM.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and Brite Nites’ evolving service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a role that combines new client acquisition and account management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • A mix of grit and finesse: you can cold call, close deals, and keep clients happy.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals.
  • CRM experience and a disciplined approach to managing your pipeline.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
