Job summary

Viacore Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (Solutions Specialist) to cover the Rocky Mount, NC area and surrounding territories. This role requires a self-starter with a strong industrial sales background and experience in conveyor belt or distribution industries.

You will manage a defined territory, build long-term customer relationships, and work with distributors and manufacturers to grow markets.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with strong communication skills and desire to grow.
• Industrial parts or equipment sales experience preferred (2 years).
• Knowledge of conveyor belt or distribution industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proven sales track record of growth in industrial trade sales.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned territory and maintaining sales while generating new business.
• Developing long-term customer relationships.
• Recommending products based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Improving sales opportunities and coordinating with customer service and inside sales.

We are looking for a the right individual to become a part of our sales team to cover our Rocky Mount, NC branch as a (Solutions Specialist) Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative should be a self-starter with a strong Industrial sales background with specific industry experience. Most specifically, this position will cover the areas of Southeaster Virginia and Northeaster, North Carolina.

Compensation: Base Salary plus commissions, amount based upon experience.

Job Qualifications:

• Self-starter with strong communication skills and desire to grow
• Industrial parts or equipment sales: 2 year (preferred)
• Knowledge of conveyor belt industry and/or distribution industry preferred
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proven sales track record of growth in industrial trade sales
• College degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Must have strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Valid drivers license is required

Schedule

• 8 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate

• NC/VA Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
