Tague Lumber is seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative who will partner with customers, grow new business, and serve as a trusted point of contact. You will work closely with existing customers while actively developing opportunities, delivering exceptional service that builds loyalty and drives growth.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, product knowledge, and delivering outstanding service across job sites and vendor networks.

Formación

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with inside sales to close sales while delivering excellent customer service.
• Build strong vendor relationships.
• Become familiar with Tague Lumber Inc.’s product mix and systems.
• Quote and bid construction projects.
• Follow up on quotes with a focus on closing.
• Read blueprints and travel to job sites.
• Maintain professional and ethical interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines.

Tague Lumber is looking for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you'll work closely with existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities, serving as a key point of contact and trusted partner. Success in this position comes from creating positive customer experiences, understanding customer needs, and fostering long-term relationships that drive growth and loyalty.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work together with your inside sales team to close sales while providing excellent customer service
• Build strong vendor relationships
• Become familiar with Tague Lumber Inc.’s Product mix and computer system, procedures and sales philosophy
• Quote and bid construction projects
• Follow up on all quotes with an emphasis on closing the sale
• Read blueprints
• Travel to job sites
• Continuously communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of products and services
• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, rules and guidelines
• Maintain positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful and ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors
