Job summary

Manhattan Laminates in the New York metro area seeks an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to provide top-notch customer service to architects, designers, fabricators, contractors, set and scenic designers, and woodworkers. A construction background is highly preferred with a basic level of product knowledge in the industry.

You will cultivate relationships, identify sales opportunities, and make cold calls to prospective customers while scheduling appointments and following up on service

Qualifications

• 1 year sales experience preferred.
• 2 years building materials experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Construction background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and managing customer relationships
• Utilizing sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns
• Making cold calls to prospective customers
• Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers
• Following up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern arise
• Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services
• Assisting customers in the credit application process
• Connecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative with a professional and pleasant demeanor to provide our clients with the highest quality of customer service.

Construction background highly preferred with a basic level of product knowledge in the industry

Job Responsibilities:
