Job summary

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. is seeking a Parts Outside Sales Representative for NJ/PA/DE. This base salary plus commission eligible role focuses on growing aftermarket truck and trailer parts by maintaining customer relationships and expanding accounts.

You will travel daily in your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement), provide product knowledge and technical support, and use CRM tools to manage opportunities. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; strong sales and customer-service mindset required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or related sales background.
• Strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by maintaining and growing existing customer relationships and developing new accounts.
• Promote company marketing and sales programs for existing and new product lines.
• Maintain customer, vendor, and product data to support sales efforts.
• Utilize company CRM programs effectively.
• Develop product knowledge through training programs.
• Provide inventory ordering information to purchasing as needed.
• Offer technical support and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
• Utilize company parts van properly and deliver same-day orders during calls.
• Monitor market conditions and customer needs to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Adhere to the company's safety program.

Parts Outside Sales Representative NJ/PA/DE - Bilingual/Spanish

This is a base salary plus commission eligible position.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned outside sales professional with experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, or a related industry. Responsibilities:

• Increase sales of aftermarket truck and trailer parts by Maintaining/growing existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new accounts.
• Implementing Company marketing and sales programs promoting existing and new product lines.
• Maintenance of customer, vendor, and product information to support sales effort.
• Effective utilization of Company CRM programs.
• Develop product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
• Provide inventory ordering information to purchasing as needed.
• Provide technical support to customers and work with vendors to solve customer problems.
• Proper utilization of Company parts van.
• Delivery of “same day” parts orders during routine sales calls.
• Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross selling opportunities.
• Adherence to Company safety program.

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years’ experience in sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or service or a related sales background.
• Must have strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; bi-lingual a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and multi-task.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be open to daily travel in personal vehicle (mileage re-imbursement eligible) and commute to Voorhees, NJ as needed.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
