Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, privately owned construction materials company seeking an energetic and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative in Morgantown, WV.
The Outside Sales Representative will develop new business, manage existing customer relationships, identify upcoming construction projects, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and drive profitable sales throughout an assigned territory.
This is an excellent career opportunity for someone with experience in outside sales, construction, asphalt paving, heavy highway, mining, civil infrastructure, heavy equipment, concrete, or building materials. Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Develop new business and expand sales throughout the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Call on contractors, municipalities, engineers, developers, and industrial customers.
- Identify new construction projects and potential sales opportunities.
- Develop leads and pursue opportunities before and during project bidding.
- Prepare customer quotations and product pricing.
- Negotiate pricing and secure profitable sales.
- Visit active construction jobsites, plants, customer facilities, and project locations.
- Coordinate with dispatch, logistics, plant operations, and customer service teams.
- Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and account information.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and trade associations.
- Manage an assigned sales territory independently and efficiently.
- Meet or exceed annual sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Previous outside sales, territory sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing experience is a plus.
- Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:
- Construction
- Construction materials
- Heavy highway
- Asphalt and paving
- Mining
- Civil construction and infrastructure
- Heavy equipment
- Concrete
- Aggregate or building materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Valid driver's license required.
