Key Responsibilities

  • Continually identifying and approaching potential customers
  • Manage and grow sales territory by developing strong, long-term customer and vendor relationships
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to understand customer needs and deliver product and service solutions.
  • Present and promote Applied Power Products' offerings and services
  • Collaborate with internal technical, production, and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales with a customer-focused approach
  • Negotiate and close new business
  • Track and report sales activities using CRM software

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in industrial products, OEM sales, or MRO
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of products such as hose assemblies, belting, bearings, seals, o-rings or fabricated components is a plus
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently across a wide geographic territory
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory (company vehicle)
