What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, pre-qualify, and close new accounts within the assigned territory, adhering to annual goals
- Manage existing accounts and oversee program/billing conversions in the designated region
- Conduct weekly travel to meet with customers, managing all travel and hotel arrangements
- Gather local market intelligence and relay valuable insights to the home office
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners and regional Pool Groups, enhancing business opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in an outside sales role
- Proficient in advanced sales and closing techniques
- Experience specifically in the lumber and building materials industry
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to company standards
