Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. in El Paso is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in a high-demand market.

You will leverage cold-calling and build your portfolio while representing the national Sunbelt brand and generating profitable business from the equipment range your center specializes in. The role requires a 4-year degree with related experience or 3–4 years in sales, a valid driver’s license, and being at least 21 years old.

Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage cold‑calling and closing skills to expand an existing portfolio within a high‑demand market.
• Develop skills to grow your career on a sales or operational management track.

• Generate profitable business from the range of equipment your profit center specializes in.
• Develop your assigned territory, implement sales plans, and maintain the current customer base.

Education & Experience

• 4‑year college degree in a related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR 3‑4 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 21 years of age.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00.
• Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan.
• Benefits begin on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Benefits include:
