Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base within a high‑demand market. You will leverage cold calls to grow your portfolio and contribute to the national Sunbelt brand.

Responsibilities include developing territory, executing sales plans, and maintaining relationships with customers. A 4‑year degree or 1–2 years of related sales experience plus a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–4 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative

• Develop your assigned territory, implement sales plans, and maintain the current customer base.

Education & Experience

• 4‑year college degree in a related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR 3‑4 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 21 years of age.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00.
• Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan.
• Benefits begin on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Benefits include:
