Job summary

Staff Zone is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our construction staffing solutions in the Columbus area. You’ll prospect, meet on site, and close deals with general contractors, subcontractors, and superintendents, while coordinating with operations for staffing coverage.

The role offers uncapped commissions, monthly bonuses, a company vehicle or reimbursement, and travel to client sites as needed. This is a remote-friendly field role that rewards hustle and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Experience in staffing or construction sales is a plus, not required.
• Strong ability to build relationships with GC/subcontractors and site leaders.
• Comfortable visiting job sites and offices for meetings.
• Proactive, organized and motivated by commission.

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - CONSTRUCTION STAFFING SOLUTIONS

We’re hiring a hunter-minded sales representative to grow our presence in the market and Construct Lives within our community. You’ll be selling skilled labor, general labor, and payroll solutions to contractors who need reliable people—yesterday. In other words, you’re selling a service people are already familiar with and NEED.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prospecting and building relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and superintendents


• Meeting clients face-to-face at job sites and offices


• Consistently closing new business and expanding current accounts


• Partnering with your operations team to ensure job site coverage and client satisfaction


• Managing a book of business and growing your territory: once fully trained, you'll start your days from home and end your days at home!


• Networking Events: Think golf tournaments, clay shoots, lunch & learns, etc.

What You Bring:

• Staffing, construction, or trades-related sales is amazing BUT NOT REQUIRED!


• You’re comfortable on a construction site or walking into a GC’s trailer


• Grit, hustle, and a love for face-to-face relationship building


• Organized, proactive, and motivated by commission


• Basic tech skills (CRM, email, texting platforms)
