OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – LUMBER & BUILDING MATERIALS

Walter & Jackson, Inc., a thriving, independent company for over 150 years that offers a complete line of Lumber and Building Materials; Kitchens and Baths; Doors and Windows; and Interior Doors, Trim and Millwork; has an immediate need for an Outside Sales Representative, at our Christiana, PA location. Our Compensation Package includes: (1) a competitive salary (commensurate with experience), (2) a high-potential, aggressive commission program based on monthly/annual goals & payouts, in addition to (3) a vehicle program.

We are located near Gap, PA and are easily accessible via Route 30. Our customers are primarily located in Eastern Lancaster and Chester counties.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Establish and build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
2. Work closely with our Inside Sales Team to assist customers with product options
3. Effective problem solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
4. Treating all employees, vendors and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy
5. Become efficient with our customer-focused ERP system
6. Self-motivated: Able to meet or exceed established sales/revenue goals
7. Organize purchase and schedule delivery of Special Order Items

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

1. Sales experience is preferred
2. Industry experience is required
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
4. Maintain a strong positive attitude
5. Take pride in being a part of a customer-focused team
6. Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office
8. Drivers License with a clean record
