Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Automotive Chemicals

Location: North Carolina & South Carolina

About the Opportunity:

A fast-growing provider of high-quality aftermarket automotive chemicals is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative. This company specializes in products like oil additives, fuel cleaners, brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant additives, and more. As they expand their reach, they are looking for a talented sales professional to cover North Carolina and South Carolina.

Job Overview:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with current and potential distributors, retailers, and service centers in the automotive aftermarket industry. You will drive new business opportunities, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the company’s overall growth across North Carolina and South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth and maximize revenue in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Identify and target new business opportunities, including distributors, retailers, and service centers in the automotive aftermarket sector.

Manage existing accounts, building and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

Present and demonstrate a wide range of automotive chemical products, highlighting features, benefits, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, solving problems, and offering tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Track sales activity and report on progress through CRM systems.

Attend industry trade shows, events, and networking opportunities to stay informed on market trends and expand your professional network.

Qualifications:

3+ years of proven sales experience in the automotive industry (preferably aftermarket products).

Strong understanding of automotive chemicals, including oil additives, fuel cleaners, brake fluid, and related products.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with a passion for driving results and achieving targets.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
