Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an account-focused sales professional to develop independent business in Charleston, WV. You will promote and sell company-branded products and support service for regional/national accounts, driving profitability and market share.

You’ll work as part of a team within the sales organization to meet brand objectives and contribute to a growing food distribution network that serves America. This role offers commissions and bonuses after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months sales/marketing or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and customers; plans general sales strategy and presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing and coordinating credit/ordering.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel to resolve issues.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
• Monitors credit terms to minimize accounts receivable problems.
• Keeps aware of pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
