Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a sales professional to develop independent account business in the Charleston, WV area. You will promote company branded products, pursue new customers, and grow profitability through both new sales and account penetration.

The role offers a commission-based pay structure with monthly and annual bonuses, plus benefits and opportunities to advance within a growing foodservice distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1/2 year to 1 year sales or restaurant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales territory and customers; sample products and plan sales approach.
• Grow sales and margins to meet goals.
• Set up new accounts, determine pricing, and coordinate deliveries.
• Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in emergencies.
• Develop additional business with current customers through product penetration.
• Monitor credit terms to minimize receivables and track pricing trends.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
