Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking aSales Representative for the Salinas, CA territory. You will maintain and develop customer relationships, drive revenues, and collaborate with operations to meet safety and service goals in our liquid handling solutions portfolio.

The role covers pricing, quotes, and pursuit of new and repeat business across pumps, tanks, filtration, and spill containment, with heavy emphasis on face-to-face client engagement. Territory travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in sales.
• 3–5 years of related sales experience in industrial or B2B sectors.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pumping, irrigation or water handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives.
• Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives in the region.
• Expand top ten customer relationships and revenues with regular face-to-face calls.
• Promote and close new and repeat business for sales and rentals.
• Attend industry events and travel within the territory to call on customers.
• Prepare written quotes and concise orders, including delivery estimates.
