Job summary

Sysco Western Minnesota, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive growth across Hutchinson, Litchfield, and nearby markets. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts, promoting Sysco products and achieving sales and profit goals.

The role may require some non-traditional hours and up to 25% travel. You’ll receive a competitive base salary, bonus, incentive opportunities, a car allowance, and a cell phone as part of a robust compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years related experience in sales or restaurant management.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Bi-Lingual preferred; restaurant management or chef background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts and grow sales profitably.
• Qualify prospects and follow account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and propose products/services accordingly.
• Inform customers about market trends, pricing and product innovations.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts, events and meetings.
• Process credits and collect balances per credit terms; support deliveries.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in trainings; assist training of new hires.
• Review reports like bid files and gross profit margins; prepare budgets.
