Job summary

Sysco is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role emphasizes achieving sales and profit goals while accommodating non-traditional hours as needed to serve customers.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor offerings to meet client needs, with strong emphasis on relationship-building and market awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field or 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Explain market conditions and product benefits to customers.
