Job summary

Sysco is seeking an outside sales professional in New York to promote products and services, build new relationships, and sustain growth with existing accounts. The role may require evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales/restaurant management experience. Bi-lingual is a plus, with strong English skills and MS Office proficiency. Travel by car to accounts is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, marketing or related field.
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus; must read, write and speak English.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, and minimize lost business to grow profitable sales within the territory.
• Identify prospects, qualify leads, and align products/services with customer needs.
• Present product information, train customers, and support account relationships.
• Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts and participate in events as required.
• Process credits and manage order routing, with coordination to the transportation team.
