RoofCrafters Roofing is seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR SALES MANAGER to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, estimates, and provide several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, & follow-through. Lead and motivate a small sales team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of obtaining the sale
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Build & maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
- Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day - prompt customer follow-up
- Convert leads to prospects via estimates provided to clients
- Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
- Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes & tagging appropriate personnel
- Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
- Provide roofing, color, style & payment options to prospects
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Notify management of issues or concerns communicated by customers or identified by other means
- Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns (marketing)
- Execute marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop personal strategies & collaborate for approval
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans
- Grow market share & maximize territory performance
- Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability
- Monitor materials pricing & availability due to market changes
- Accurately complete contract details & legal documents
- Develop personal routines that align with SOPs
- Lead weekly meetings & other scheduled meetings
- No door knocking required
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales management experience in construction, industrial sales, or related fields; must be a great motivator & leader
- Professional, able to network & enjoy conversation
- Excellent customer service skills & desire to ensure customer satisfaction
- Strong grammar, verbal & written, & math skills
- Strong negotiation skills & drive to sell
- Proven accuracy & emphasis on safety
- Experience with sales tracking & analysis
- Competitive spirit & desire for continuous improvement
- Physical ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as required
- Ability to learn & utilize CRM software; manage & monitor jobs
- Intermediate computer & technological skills
- Ability to work well with others & be team-oriented
- Strong work ethic, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & email communication
- Self-managed & able to work independently with minimal supervision
