RoofCrafters Roofing is seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR SALES MANAGER to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, estimates, and provide several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, & follow-through. Lead and motivate a small sales team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of obtaining the sale
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients
  3. Build & maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
  4. Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned the same day - prompt customer follow-up
  5. Convert leads to prospects via estimates provided to clients
  6. Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
  7. Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes & tagging appropriate personnel
  8. Research specialty items & source prior to estimates
  9. Provide roofing, color, style & payment options to prospects
  10. Ensure an exceptional customer experience
  11. Notify management of issues or concerns communicated by customers or identified by other means
  12. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns (marketing)
  13. Execute marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop personal strategies & collaborate for approval
  14. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
  15. Prepare & execute daily sales plans
  16. Grow market share & maximize territory performance
  17. Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability
  18. Monitor materials pricing & availability due to market changes
  19. Accurately complete contract details & legal documents
  20. Develop personal routines that align with SOPs
  21. Lead weekly meetings & other scheduled meetings
  22. No door knocking required
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of sales management experience in construction, industrial sales, or related fields; must be a great motivator & leader
  • Professional, able to network & enjoy conversation
  • Excellent customer service skills & desire to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Strong grammar, verbal & written, & math skills
  • Strong negotiation skills & drive to sell
  • Proven accuracy & emphasis on safety
  • Experience with sales tracking & analysis
  • Competitive spirit & desire for continuous improvement
  • Physical ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as required
  • Ability to learn & utilize CRM software; manage & monitor jobs
  • Intermediate computer & technological skills
  • Ability to work well with others & be team-oriented
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & email communication
  • Self-managed & able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, & move efficiently with accommodations if needed
