Job description

We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, provide estimates, and present multiple options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of securing sales.
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients.
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
  4. Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers.
  5. Convert leads into prospects via provided estimates.
  6. Enter lead information into CRM accurately, including notes and tagging relevant team members.
  7. Research specialty items and source prior to estimating.
  8. Present roofing options, colors, styles, and payment plans to prospects.
  9. Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  10. Notify management of customer issues or concerns.
  11. Prepare marketing materials like postcards & letters for campaigns.
  12. Implement marketing strategies and develop personal strategies in partnership with team leads.
  13. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
  14. Prepare and execute daily sales plans.
  15. Grow market share and maximize territory performance.
  16. Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability.
  17. Keep current on material pricing and market conditions.
  18. Accurately complete contracts and legal documents.
  19. Develop personal routines aligned with SOPs.
  20. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales is a plus.
  • Professionalism, networking ability, and love for conversation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written grammar and math skills.
  • Negotiation skills and a drive to sell.
  • Proven accuracy and safety focus.
  • Experience with sales tracking and analysis.
  • Competitive and committed to self-improvement.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to learn and use a CRM effectively.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Self-managed with minimal supervision.
