Job description

We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, provide estimates, and offer several options to customers via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform estimates for roof replacement to secure sales.
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients.
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
  4. Ensure prompt follow-up on all missed calls/messages.
  5. Convert leads to prospects via provided estimates.
  6. Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes.
  7. Research specialty items & sources prior to estimates.
  8. Provide roofing, color, style & payment options to prospects.
  9. Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  10. Notify management of issues or concerns from customers.
  11. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns.
  12. Execute marketing strategies and develop personal strategies with approval.
  13. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
  14. Prepare & execute daily sales plans.
  15. Grow market share and maximize territory performance.
  16. Stay updated on roofing systems, trends, and materials.
  17. Maintain accurate contract and legal document completion.
  18. Develop personal routines aligning with SOPs.
  19. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales a plus.
  • Professionalism, networking ability, and love for conversation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong grammar, verbal & written, and math skills.
  • Negotiation skills and drive to sell.
  • Accuracy and safety focus.
  • Sales tracking and analysis skills.
  • Competitive drive and continuous improvement.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and walk roofs.
  • Ability to learn and use CRM software.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Alignment with our R.O.O.F.S values and mission.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs, and stand, sit, bend, twist as needed.
